Today is a BIG DAY! My roommate Sydney is 18 today and it is golden birthday!!!!! Double wammy!! So today is dedicated to her! We have celebrated by giving her some of her favorites throughout the week, and a party on Saturday. Well today is where all the real fun starts. I'm sure she will get showered with love at the institute. Tonight after FHE we are going to go to dinner. Until then, I want to make a little shoutout to Syd!
I am going to make a list of 18 things I love about Sydney!
(in no particular order)
1. Very personable and fun, she can befriend anyone!
2. She is a democrat in a republican neighborhood.
3. She owns the dance floor, she dances like no one is watching.
4. She has a great relationship with her Father in Heaven.
5. She is a loyal friend.
6. She loves red which shows she is bold and courageous.
7. She is canadian. I love when she says stuff in her cute Canadian accent.
8. She is a great listener and genuinely cares.
9. She loves corn dogs and can eat all the food she wants!
10. She has a deep passion for the things she likes.
11. Her laugh, especially when she is laughing so hard that no noise comes out.
12. Her wildcat pride.
13. The good innate missionary that she is.
14. Her blog and the way she words everything. If you haven't read her blog, you should probably change that.
15. Her cute pose that we call "the Syd pose" or the lady gaga pose.
16. She is comfortable in her own skin and can rock at karaoke.
17. Her relationship with both her sisters, but especially the way she treats her little 3 year old sister.
18. The fact she decided to live with us! So grateful for that decision!
The list could go on and on. She is a gem!
