New York- Day 2

Our main task today was church, and we lucked out with a 1:00 ward so we could sleep in a bit. To top it off, they met on the third floor in the temple. How cool is that??

We also got to ride in a taxi which was my first time in a cab!

Mostly candid.

The church service was good. The only bad thing was that the AC was out. So it was dreadfully hot. We made it through it and got to walk through the beautiful, cooled off, Central Park.

The park was absolutely beautiful.

Next we walked a billion miles to Grand Central Terminal/Station. It doesn't help that we got turned around a few times and had to back track. Poor Payson was wearing his church shoes, so I'm sure he has major blisters now.

I love that there are so many rows of flags hung everywhere we go.

Grand Central Station.

On our way back home we finally bought the banana bread pudding and then got some yummy pizza. Oh and btw: best pudding I've ever had. Go to Mongolias if you ever visit NYC.

We finally started to walk home after, but stopped at the library.

The rest of the night was spent relaxing, going through pictures and watching 17 again.
